Rashad Robinson serves as president of Rashad Robinson Advisors, providing counsel to foundations, campaigns, and movement organizations on narrative infrastructure and cultural change strategies.

Robinson has secured major corporate accountability victories throughout his career, compelling Airbnb, Google, and Facebook to conduct civil rights audits and implement anti-discrimination policies. He helped lead the #StopHateForProfit coalition that withdrew $7 billion in corporate advertising from Facebook, while forcing over 100 corporations to abandon the American Legislative Exchange Council. Robinson developed Hollywood representation standards through initiatives like "Race in the Writers' Room" and "Normalizing Injustice," consulting on dozens of television shows to improve portrayals of Black communities while establishing new industry benchmarks for diversity. During his 13-year leadership of Color Of Change (2011-2024), he helped scale membership to over 7 million people and expanded operations to four national offices.

His methodology centers on converting "presence into power"—moving beyond visibility to achieve concrete policy changes. Robinson has driven accountability measures across Silicon Valley, Hollywood, and Wall Street while helping win net neutrality protections by advancing internet access as a civil rights issue.

Before embarking on his advocacy career, Robinson helped lead media programs at GLAAD during pivotal years of LGBTQ+ advancement, including marriage equality campaigns. He currently serves on the Marguerite Casey Foundation board and co-chaired the Aspen Institute's Commission on Information Disorder.

Robinson has testified before Congress on algorithmic bias and civil rights. He maintains regular commentary platforms on CNN, MSNBC, and NPR and has appeared in conversation with President Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Prince Harry.

His book, "From Presence to Power," on how to make change, will be published by Penguin Random House in 2026.
